About me

I am Graeme Brown.  I worked as archaeologist for 15 years before doing a conversion course at Napier University and moving into IT.  I have an MA (Hons) in Archaeology from Edinburgh University and an MSc in Information Systems from Napier University in Edinburgh.

I’m interested in a number of things in and around technology and software development but particularly agile and agile management.  My dissertation research was on distributed agile and it could be said that this is the area where I have most specialist knowledge.  I work as a systems developer for Babcock Integrated Technology at Rosyth in Fife, Scotland using both Java and Microsoft technologies.  My ultimate career goal is project management and ideally this would be in an agile environment though at present this is pretty much a niche market.
